I've been looking into some wheels for my girlfriend, and ran across these. I've never seen these on a Volvo before so I was thinking about getting them. They are brand new, never mounted- they have been in storage for a few years, and the model has been discontinued.
Do you guys like them? They are 19x8", and weigh around 25 lbs. Not light, but not bad for 19" cast wheels...

Thanks for the input guys. I think I will talk to the seller and see if he is willing to make some sort of deal. The wheels are a good enough price that if I ended having problems down the road it wouldn't be a major loss. I like the looks of them, and I think if they were powder coated gunmetal or anthracite they would look even better. They are 5x108 with an offset of 38, which if I recall will fit our cars just fine. I wouldn't need hubcentric rings if I put them on the S60, but I would if I put them on the S40.

An S60. What can I say, I like Volvo. I talked her into getting it a while back, she had hers months before I found mine.

nice looking rims, they would look hot on a S60. But like zerocover said you might have to buy a whole new set if one rim was to break.

If I were looking for the best performance I'd stick to 18"s as there are a lot of lighter 18"s. However, I am just looking for daily driver wheels that look good and don't bend or crack from normal driving. Performance takes the backseat for now, especially if I were to put these on my gf's car which is an NA S60. It is a a comfortable and good looking ride, but it doesn't have a lot of power. I am considering putting them on my car, just so I don't have to worry about damaging expensive wheels.
I also found a wheel place that has a set of these in stock, but are chrome. They also have 3 that have slight cosmetic scratches to the chrome that they would sell for super cheap, so I think I would be safe getting them. I could just powder coat them to all match if needed.

Re: (sanatarium)

LOL. They are actually about the same cost as Atreus would be, so if I do end up getting them and deciding I don't want them I would be interested in the Atreus.

Re: (sanatarium)

They're 38, so they should fit just fine. I believe they are 8" wide, maybe 8.5". I'm serious, too. I have no problem wheel swapping if they end up not being what I want.
