Wow looks good. Those suckers are expensive but the look is great. I’m sure they are nice and light too.

My understanding is things get challenging if you ever want/need to do anything to the paint. The newer the car, the less likely there are to be paint issues.
Not sure where this came from but this is way off the mark, "Ceramic coatings" are a light layer of silica that hardens providing lighting water spot resistance, gloss enhancement, and way more hydrophobic ability of sealants, that's really about it. It lasts 2-5 years depending on the product and prep but otherwise, it's removed with a light polish. Maybe your thinking of clear bra/PPF? That is a more permanent solution.

Noo a fellow sonic blue car :((((.

All of it polished off, with there only a dent left on the rear quarter, which looks serviceable by PDR. Got the junkyard mirror for $40 off an 08 S60 which just arrived 11/24, now just have get some silicone and glue the mirror cover back on.

Happy thanksgiving y’all.

NICE. Looking good 🔥🔥🔥

Is something in the mirror busted? Should just snap on. I would replace the whole thing if it's broken. P2 door panels are easy to pull.

A clip on the mirror cover broke upon removal (ofc it did) and i wanted to use silicone to make sure it doesn't fly off on the freeway. You're looking at the new mirror base that is already attached.

Caught the little aahole chewing the hood liner.

Ah, I was thinking you replaced the cap, not the base. This makes much more sense now lol.

Okay hell yeah, then I'm 100% ok to do 245/40/18s on 18x8s, I was worried about rubbing. Dunno about 18x9s though, that's probably pushing it

Well it depends on the offset too. Mine does rub a little at full lock. If I were to use 235s it probably would’ve been fine. The larger the offset, the more inward the wheel.

Exactly! I'm looking at these two...
18x8: FC04A 18x8.0 +40 72.6mm - Titanium - Price Per Wheel | EuroSportTuning.com
18x9: FC04A 18x9.0 +30 72.6mm - Titanium - Price Per Wheel | EuroSportTuning.com
supposedly the wheel would poke 11.4mm more than yours with the 18x9, and yours look flush as is. 18x8s are lighter anyway, and 235/40/18s cost less. Probably gonna go with those to avoid having to roll/pull.
The 18x8 is ~6mm more outboard than stock, yours is ~17.4mm more outboard. Looks killer!

Yah, the 18x9 +30 would be little too much I would think
