Started my fitzy bezel pod project last night! But I may have already made a mistake and cutoff too much of the gauge pod...

Looks good makes me want one. Does the placement of yours block any of the cluster?

Tried to thread my shift arm. WTF is that metal made of? Its ridiculously hard while being soft at the same time... It's nearly impossible to start the thread, but then it doesn't want to keep threading. It just slips through. My palm is red and swollen (that's what she said). After 2 hrs, I just gave up.
What are you trying to thread it with? I had no luck with the TWM die that they sent me with a shift knob. I went to the hardware store and got an Irwin die with a handle and it took me ten minutes with the new die.

I used one that came in a whole tap-die set it's by great neck or some company. I even filed the edges down a little on the shift rod to make it easier for it to bite. I mean it starts threading, but it slips and doesn't continue. I'm not even planning on putting a TWM on. I just wanted to make my own threads to put my custom shiftknob on.
Make sure you are using the right size die for the shifter shaft the one I used was an 8 mm- 1.25. Press down firmly and make sure to keep firm downward pressure while keeping the die level when you are starting the threads the first two full turns are the hardest but once you get it it is cake to thread it the rest of the way

Get an Irwin die if you can they make high quality bits and such and I don't believe I spent more than 15 dollars on the die and the handle.

Make sure you are using the die the right way. The side that starts the thread and is the lead cutting edge has a slightly bigger opening than the other side.

If you can see how the die looks on this side in the pic. That is the cutting edge and should be facing down wile threading the shifter. Hope it helps

for the price it's not bad, you could do worse. I think the hard part is getting it really even and not wavy. I'm sure it's one of the looks good at 10 ft mods. but get up close...

 for the guy who discovered it.

ordered a boost gauge surround with custom engraving, I can't wait to get it and do the install.
I think it looks good and since my car at a whole is a ten footer this may be something I try in the future. I wish I had the time money and patience of some of the members here to get my car up to par cosmetically but I like the sleeper motif of my car.

+1 the SUM recal really pulled it all together for me and i am also at just under -2 for rear camber on TME springs

not that big of a deal i ran without one all winter and it was fine it just really seemed to smooth everything out and made me really love the new suspension set up

bought it monday and did not drive it till it was tinted 5% today

Thats too dark you won't be able to see at night to reverse. You will need to roll down the windows and use the side mirrors to see behind you at night. I bought my car with 5% all around and 35% on the windshield took about 42 hours of owning the car to get pulled over by a hostile cop with his hand on his gun. He gave me a ticket which required a DMV inspection

Changed the oil, replaced a leaking power steering reservoir, and changed out the parking brake pads.
Lucky I changed the parking brake pads 3 of the four were delaminated.

Anyone found a a supplier for replacement of our clear lenses? With 213,000 kms on the clock, mine have a few small stone chips and are starting to haze from dust and sand.
I believe Eurosport tuning sells replacement lenses

vLGrok has the right idea with the color-coded TCV vacuum lines. I have the ipd inlet pipe and that same ipd (ver 2) tcv.... but i apparently swapped the compressor and vent ports.... so, 10 in Hg...0 psi...1 psi ...5psi...10 psi.....21 psi...... boost cut.... P0234.... damnit!
I fixed my stupidity but if i had vacuum lines like this, It wouldn't have happened in the 1st place.
Or just different colors of electrical tape does the job well

Yeah, I'll let you drive by the Staties first...NH Law Enforcement DOES NOT like tint.
i hear that my local law enforcement well one guy in particular pulled me over so many times i now have my tints registered with the dmv. it was a pain in the ass but i dont want the hastle

Well the first image includes the aluminum shifter base bushings. Love them, the precision in the gate is fantastic now, very tight.

The second image is the TWM Short Shifter!
Make sure to be careful and remove the shift cables from the stock shift plate correctly. Otherwise you will break it and have your shift cable zip-tied to the twm plate like me.

What's the legal over there?
35% after tint which means basically 40% film. I have a local cop who kept on writing me dmv inspections for tint so now they are legal and registered with the DMV. It was a total hassle.
