Worked all day with it no issues delivering, went to get in and go home and it starts, rough idle then dies. Moved about 5 ft before it said nope to that and won’t give me any throttle response. Getting towed to the mechanic now

I’m sure it’s something simple but I was in a fire lane with many people walking by watching me as I was under the hood, said f it and called AAA to have my guy look at it Monday
Gives me an excuse to get a day off anyway

Drove it for the first time in a couple weeks. It was almost refreshing since I've been driving my slushbox E39 for so long lol.
Left a coolant spot on the driveway when I got home... so I'll look into that at some point. I also dropped the headliner earlier, so I can FINALLY re-cover it.

Yes. I have had these Brembos prepped for a while but finally found someone who was offering brackets.

This winds up being somewhat of a repost from another thread, but I guess that happens...
This weekend I installed new Depo 2003-2004 C70 Jewels in the V70 to address dangerously dim light output with the original headlights.
I also grabbed an eggcrate grille and popped it in.
Looks pretty nice. (I really need to replace that bumper cover though! The previous owner was a little old lady who barely drove it, and seemingly rubbed up against things on a regular basis )
For the low beams I went with a cheap noname LED bulb from Amazon, only because it was the only one which promised 4300k color temperature. (I thought 6000k would just be too blue and be a little much on one of these older cars, and just not match its character.)
For the high beams I filed down some Philips 9011 HIR1 bulbs and installed them in the 9005 slot
Obligatory pics below (don't judge color temp from them as auto-white balance ruins any ability to get an accurate representation)

Those HIR's are BRIGHT! Especially compared to the original headlights which were pretty bad.
I can SEE again!

Nice! Jewels and an egg crate are a HUGE improvement to any S/V/C70.

awesome upgrade Mr Mattlach...look around Car dealer lots and you'll find a guy who does paint touch up jobs...they usually make a circuit when they are there on certain days...I was lucky ran in to one a few years back..he has done a lot of touch up on my wagon at a reasonable cost...

The front bumper cover is bad enough (significant road rash underneath, presumably previous owner had a steep driveway they repeatedly rubbed on) that I think I might just replace it all together.
There are some other little scrapes all around that I could definitely use a touch-up specialist for though.

Mine are sitting on the shelf. Eventually I'm gonna pull the rack out of my parts car and drop the subframe on my R and do everything at once.

The new fabric looks decent, but I had my brother help me lay it down and he wrinkled his side. Upon installation now, I already bent the backing in a couple places because I can never find help.

Thank you! I had my friends powder coat it and they had a metallic gray powder so we tried that. Turned out super cool, even if it’s overkill for something that’s basically not visible when it’s on the car haha.
I’m really looking forward to the ride and handling improvements the bushings make.
Thanks! I’m excited for the ride improvement for sure. It’s not as big a job as it seems once you really get down there and into it, but having a second subframe to clean up and install makes life super easy since I drive my car to the office every day.
I’ve had these bushings sitting on a shelf for a longggg time because I wanted to replace my subframe bushings, steering rack and some other stuff all in 1 process.
I want to replace my headliner, it’s starting to sag ever so slightly on the sunroof panel.
