I think it is the Cosmos Blue Metallic. Nautic Blue Metallic is abit darker and has a lot of silver mica in it. Cosmos Blue is more purplish...

"Mica" are the little specks of paint within the paint. If you look closely, any metallic paint color consists of a BASE and millions of tiny "dots" (a.k.a. mica) that give you the metallic "blue".

I personally am a big fan of Nautic Blue Metallic. Cosmos Blue Metallic is a pretty good color but Nautic Blue is the typical great Blue color you find only in premium European cars.

The second picture (the S60 D5 from Austria) is definitely Nautic Blue. I think the first one is also Nautic Blue although the light could be playing tricks...

Well I hope it's Cosmos Blue because that's what I've ordered, I think! Just have to wait and see when it arrives....could be Nautic Blue or even Midnight Blue. Should be blue anyway, a change from my current silver.

Also, what about the alloys? Tethys or Thor?

If only life involved fewer choices!

That almost light bluish color of the s60 logo on the top of this forum page is what I really like. But it looks lighter than the first Cosmos Blue link I gave. The logo of this forum page looks almost gray bluish, ahh, I really love this color!! I just hope the logo is really Cosmos Blue so I can decide what colored car to buy.

Well, if you paid for Metallic paint then it should not be Midnight Blue (or North Sea Blue as we call it here in the US).

That's how MY2002 started. Now, North Sea Blue is available on all S60s, except AWD.

I just got off the phone with one of the distribution specialists at Irvine, CA. They ended the cycle where North Sea Blue was available on all S60s, last week. Now, it is only available in the n/a S60s and S60 T5.

I would not rely on Edmunds or any of the Internet-based companies as they are clueless to the latest developments.
