I've had a pull to the left since I bought my car used 1.5 years ago, and I know it was crunched up front, but not how bad (I was dumb and didn't request the repair bill for the accident for reference when I bought the car). Getting it aligned within spec (caster/camber/toe) didn't help the pull. It's enough to require constant correction on the highway. I estimate it's a pound or two required on the outside of the wheel to correct it.
I have alignment reports listing SAI, Included angle, Setback, Track width diff., and Wheel base diff.
The spec fields are blank, however, so I do not know if these are normal readings. I learned their purpose is to detect if my suspension has a problem, so if someone could post the values for me to compare to, I'd appreciate it.
http://i212.photobucket.com/al...1.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/al...2.jpg

Re: What are our secondary alignment angles? (mattdoc)

They are blank because there isnt a factory adjustment, however thats ghetto that they still dont list it. Our hunter rack does. Id do a side to side wheel rotate and see what that does. Honestly find a lot of pulls to be wheel/tire related after a proper alignment has been done.

I saw a frame shop and he recommended new tires, too. I wish it were that simple... I've swapped sides and front to rear on both of my sets of wheels/tires, with no effect.
I know there aren't really adjustments of the secondaries, but they're indicators of proper suspension geometry (i.e. hasnt been wrecked). I'd just like to know if I have a problem there or not. Could you get the numbers off your rack for me next time you align an S40?

Re: (mattdoc)

I just checked and the specs will come up IF the car is on the rack. It wont actually specify what the specs are from the factory. Id have to have a S40 on the rack and see what it has for secondary measurements and let you know that way next time you get yours checked you have something to compare.
