That's cool. I didn't know they were opening one up in the US. My dad loved Guinness!

I toured the Guinness factory in Ireland about 10 years ago.

Edit. Made it. They've got a big parking lot. Maybe not big enough but it's big.

I'll be at the Maryland one later today, barring horrible traffic that forces me to say forget it.
Special event!

Ive got two, but depending on location probably could contribute 1.
I've got 2 cars my self and possibly 2 drivers. But I got 2 more that I can invite personally. Any of you guys use instagram? There is a new Volvo club getting started Midatlantic Volvo Club. They are planning a swap meet in about 6 months and they are also working with IPD FCP and Swedish Car Parts there could be alot of cars/Drivers gathered from these guys! Also when would be a great to know. Good thing NJ just got mandatory sick leave, I know where I'm using mine!
Hey everyone. Manager of the Mid Atlantic Volvo Club here. 940Pusher told me about this and I think this is great!
Our club is rapidly growing and we already have about 30-40 members and rising. We would love to be apart of this somehow.
We definitely need a set/vague dates. I know once we have those I can get 7-10 SR/VR's to commit.
Additionally, I have great contacts with Volvo reps as well as a handful of companies. I could most likely assemble 40-60 cars.

Having set up events before, do not do this on a holiday. Do not do this during rainy season. Do not do this during the week (obviously).

What I am personally thinking is that we hold it the SAME day as the one across the pond. Make this a friendly competition between America and our oddball friends overseas. (Much love!♡)

Starting point: Any location within 2-3 miles of the SC Volvo location.

Ending point: SC Volvo location

Starting time: 8AM

Ending time: 6 or 8PM

Get sponsors for the event. This would be their golden ticket for publicity. Sponsors supply drinks and snacks. Maybe music.

Could make this a 2 day event if anything. Saturday into Sunday.

Have a portion for all the vendors. One portion for a car show. Another for visitors.

I would like to hop onto this! Where would the start and end destination be?
I'd love to come, but it depends on where/when.
If in St Louis (previously mentioned, or even KC), I would do it, and maybe even get both cars there. Any farther, and just 1 car.
My brother lives in MD, so I could figure out a coastal city in that region, such as Philly, Baltimore or DC.
I'm not sure I could swing the wife on a 1000 mile road trip to SC JUST for a Volvo meet-up, though...but I'd try ;P
Should to bring a couple from South Florida

Would love to attend.
How to stay updated on this?
I am on board! I have one Volvo to contribute, and I live in Wyoming, however I should be working in New Orleans that time of year. Either way I would be willing to figure out a trip for such a record maker!
