Besides the occasional clunking suspension noises and the irritating interior rattles I have been getting what sounds like a tumbling sound from the rear underside of the car when accelerating from a standing start.

It doesn't happen all the time and I rarely if ever really get on it (WOT). But when it does happen it's very obvious almost like something tumbling or rolling around in the trunk..But it obviously is coming from under the car.

Any ideas?

I have an 07 S/R GT with about 38K on it.

Check to see if all parts of your "jack" are secure, that's my first guess.

Good idea! I did install sound deading material in the trunk! May have not gotten everything back in with the jack good and tight! I hope that's it.
