Everybody does it. You’re idly browsing Craigslist or eBay or whatever, and you find that beautiful car for way too little. Just needs a little TLC to get it back on the road. Most of us, when we see that, get a little excited then return to our senses, and forget all about it. But not everyone does.

Why does it just need a little TLC to get it on the road? The answer is almost invariably because it stalled out. The little things turned out to be big things and all of a sudden a project that seemed easy has become difficult, demoralizing, and disappointing. So deep in a well of money and anxiety someone tries to sell it.

But that’s where the Wrenchmen, a new series from Hagerty, comes in. Matt and Davin, who have rebuilt a few engines in their day, travel the country finding projects that just need a little help to get over the hump and back onto the road.

Their latest episode, number six, deals with a beautiful red 1964 Volvo 1800S. Watching the thrilling process of problems being solved will get you back into the classifieds section and looking for a project of your own.
