Guys & Gals - Finally had the chance to upload some pics of my caR today.. We had a cool, cloudy day here in St. Louis, so it was an excellent opportunity to wash/vac the silver rocket. Enjoy!

looks very nice.good job

IMHO you should put another hood grill

Thanks pete! I agree with you on the hood grill.. The only problem they pose is you gotta put the covers on every time you wash the car or it rains. Considering we get several frequent and often unexpected storms during the spring/summer here and I wash my cars at least once a week, it can be a pain in the a$$ with just one. But, it's always something to think about in the future.

Looks good... really like the volutions. You need some 05+ taillights and then you'll be really rockin'

Are they compatible? Is it a simple swap or are any special gaskets needed to go from '04 to '05?

wow... what color is it? Doesnt look silver...

Haha nah, it's 2004 metallic (light) silver.. As you know, the later period Rs came in an "electric silver" which has more gray in it.

Evos - Glad you like it, thanks a bunch for the compliment. Here's a pic of the under-hood colors as well; everything is done in a Volvo corporate blue theme (pin stripe, headlight film, engine bay) and the Nordkap leather ties everything in nicely. The previous owner, Mash, is the master behind the mods.

As I recall when I helped someone else do a while back, we just had to snap off one of hte plastic mounts on the bulb holder. everything else is the same. And they look SO much better.

Nice looking car BTW.

Personally, I like the single side vent, but that's just me.
