Was the yellow in 1995 offered only for the 850 T5-R?

Hi,

Like the sublect line says, I want to know if the yellow in 1995 was offered only for the 850 T5-R or was it available for the Turbo as well?

At least in the USA, it was only on the R.

Yep, only on the T5-R was the yellow available in sedan or wagon, as well as black next year for the R it was red and black. Hey George! speaking of red R's check out a copy of the newest Rolling magazine vol 18,no.4 july/august 2001, look at page 32 and you will find your car. The pictures the took of me must not have turned out or were lost, just kidding man, looks good!

Another question: What are the most common problems (and symptoms) I should be looking for when buying a 850 R or T5-R?

Only problem with this R wagon so far id TRACTION on hard starts... damn FWD.

No really we bought our 97 with 80K on it this year. Had incredible records and was up to date with service. I felt it needed shocks (and springs :eek
right away.

That was about all it "needed" .

Hah, that's awesome. My R has had its 15 min of fame now huh? Too bad they weren't in on the photo session of the two cars together. That was pretty cool.

Maybe I should get all of my questions at once


Besides the color, wheels & badging, was there any difference in the suspension or engines between the 850R and the T5-R?

Hi guys,

Over the weekend I bought a 95 850 T5-R sedan. The car is in almost new condition and it is very fun to drive. Considering that I moved from a CRX Si, the car feels a bit big and heavy, but the handling is surprisingly similar.

The R has a hotter motor, all due to different chip programming, and the suspension is a sport suspension. I'm not sure if it's the same as the sport suspension on the 850 turbo or the 850 T-5, but it is more aggressive than the standard 850 suspension.

Do you mind if I ask you how much you paid? I'm in NYC right now but I am moving to LA for school soon and was interested a 850 t5-r wagon or 850 R wagon. Are they hard to find out there? Thanks.
