So today an older lady hit me in her minivan she had a stop sign I did not. I have the damage as you see below however with just looking at this damage can someone tell me the following:
A: Why would the car now track to the right I have to turn wheel to left in order to go straight.
B: Who knows a good Body shop in the Northern, VA area?

The rear of your car was moved to the right by the minivan when you were clipped. You were probably holding onto the steering wheel in a vice grip of death.
It would surprize me too - but maybe the front end was thrown out of alignment when this happened?

Re: Was in Accident please help VA People or MD! (JRL)

She has insurance already put a report claim into my insurance she has nationwide.
I did not hit curb with front just rear was hit. I guess maybe something is bent or alignment got F'd up. I suppose I will request a Volvo shop to do the alignment and as for body work.. no idea.. the rear wheel obviously needs replaced.
So you think I am safe to drive her? Until they get me a POS rental?

Do what JRL said. He is 100% correct on this.
As far as your alignment goes, it's VERY unlikely the front got knocked out, and VERY likely the rear bent something.
I would be very suprised if nothing got bent and just knocked out of whack.
Quit driving it, get the ball rolling on repair.

Don't ever contact the other party's insurance. That is what your insurance is for.
No, don't drive it.
Sorry, I haven't lived down here long enough to know of a reputable body shop.

She said in fact the other party's insurance company will not perform any service or do a claim adjustment until speaking with me and having me file a claim as well. That is their story let me know what you all think.
I think I wish Geico wasn't $800 cheaper a year. But I will file a claim myself for that... now I know why its so cheap though =\

Something could be bent just enough to make it turn.
Also, a sideways impact could have screwed something up front if your wheels were turned at all.
Bottom line: it's possible, you won't know until you get it aligned.
