Next month my 02 V70 T goes in for front brake pads, but l also want some other things checked out.

There seems to be some overflow aound the top of the power steering unit, one of the belts seems to be getting old. There is some oil ooozing in another place.

Nothing that is dramatic but being that l have the Volvo extended warranty with $100 deduct l might as well use it if needed.

Now if l have say three different things that need repair, is the $100 deduct for everything or each problem has it's own deduct?

If this is the case l would like to know before l bring it in rather then find out when l pick it up.

I have a local independent Volvo shop which is excellent and at least 20% cheaper for sure.

Thanks

Re: warranty Question (kingman)

Alan,
why don't you just ASK THEM?
But, I think it's one ded. per trip or in lieu of that read the warranty
The PS is probably just the clamp

Re: warranty Question (JRL)

Hi Jim

Today when l stopped by they really didn't look to busy so my concern was of course are they looking to drum up business?

I will look over my warranty if l can find it ! Or l'm sure it's post on the Volvo site.

Today and yesterday the weather was awesome!

P.S. The prices on vettes are rising fast and there are not that many around.

Re: warranty Question (kingman)

It should say somewhere but I'm pretty sure that with ALL warranties; one trip, one deductible
