Hello everyone! If anyone is parting an 850 or runs across one in a junkyard, I am looking for the wood trim portion. The trim portion is held in with a few screws and some glue that comes apart with a bit of heat (heat gun or blow drier) from the bulk of the dash.

A few scratches here and there are okay, as long as there are no large gashes or cracks.

I believe the color of the trim is walnut. The color I need is in the second photo.

From what I know, the trim is in two pieces (separates in the middle).

I know I can get stick-on kits, but I would really like to avoid that.

Thank you!

Whats the best method for dealing with replacing this trim?

Mines wrecked and i found a nice set at a yard near me.

I think i got center console removal down, and top pad removal (youtube videos) but I'm concerned I'll have to deal with pulling the steering wheel to get the mid section out of donor car.

Help appreciated

tell you the truth, i think it's glued, so taking it out is a bit of a problem, as it tends to crack easily.
