Just look for any HID retailer and ask them for the right type base for the whatever type bulbs you have now...either 9005, 9006...I don't know, you should know.

It's not that hard to find an HID reseller.

HIDS 4 Less...or Xenon Shop...dunno. Just do a search with google.

In addition to what Kai suggested, you can always check Ebay. Most of the time, there are 9006 kits going for decent prices it seems with your choice of color temperature as well. I have been thinking about converting my 960 as well.

Just found this company, DGI Inc. They sell some dirt cheap HID kits that you might wan to check out. Just talked to the guy Gil ([email protected]), he is offering some pretty darn good prices.

For 6000K kit, which is what HIDS4LESS is selling, they are offering $460 a set..instead of the $700+ that others are selling. They even have the 8000K kit already.

I should be buying the 8000K kit later tonight. It's also using the Philips ballast. I'll let you guys know how it goes after the transaction and installation. Just tell him Kai sent you, he should be able to hook you up with some good deal (free shipping I heard).

Kai,

Isn't 8000k a little over the top? I have even heard that 6000k temps reduce actual light output by like 18% compared to OEM 4300k HID systems. What are you thoughts on this? 6000k is very blue compared to standard 4300k temps, I can't imagine what 8000k is like.

Yeah, I did think about that. I need to double check with this Japanese magazine I read. I know Bellof also makes an 8000K kit. I've heard the 6000K actually doesn't shine too well in the rain. I guess I will do more research on this later tonight and will let you know.

But supposedly, the 8000K should look more blue than purple light that 6000K emits.
