I'm getting my 2005 V70R ready to head to Denver for ski season- we leave a car near the Denver airport with all our ski stuff to facilitate our 30+ days on the mountain (not easy to do when you live in Iowa). This is the first year we've used this car, so I'm going thru it to be sure we're ready for problems. I pulled out the spare tire/jack/tools today, and removed the tow hook be sure it's the correct one, that the tow strap hook fits it, etc.... Front was no issue, but REAR there's NOTHING to screw the hook into. Pull off the cover, and you're looking at the back side of the R/R suspension. I noticed a vertical threaded hole that's empty, but I can't find a bracket or anything in the illustrated parts listing from Volvopartswebstore, IPD, or FCP Euro.

Can anyone shed some light on what's supposed to be there to screw the hook into so I can order and install it before the snow flies?

Thanks in advance!

Earlier this year I removed the tow hook bracket on my car to install a trailer hitch, so I thought I'd snap a picture of it for you but I can't recall where I put it. Sorry. If I find it soon I'll attach the pic.

The bracket is shown in this hitch installation video at the 29 second mark:

edit: found pics of one an online biding site:
