VW Vortex server issues?

I noticed in that in the past several weeks, when I reply to a thread, be it from a quick reply or advanced reply, it times out and says Bad Gateway, even though the post goes through. I thought it was Comcast being flaky at first, but this happens from several locations, so I am sure others are experiencing it as well.

We are actually on a different server that the rest of the VMG sites. One of the reasons why some updates and/or patches don't always get applied to SS.

The plan is to do a refresh of SS and integrate the database and presentation layer of the site in with the other sites. I don't have an ETA but the sooner the better
