VST S60 Suspension Installed

1024 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  monkey11
I have just installed a VST sport suspension, the shocks are make by Sachs, and the springs by Apex. The coilovers are still in devlopment and have no release date as of yet. The ride is very sweet, it feels like a stock T5 on the city roads and on the expressway. But when you hit a corner hard you know you have sport suspension on your car. The stance of the car is second to none, I have enclose a picture of the car lowered.

Ohhh...by Sachs~!! I know Eurosprot Tuning has been offering one already, just not sure which springs they are using that kit with. Yeah..Frank is selling them at very good price, I might get in touch with him today then.

Yeah, I did guess Apex was going to be the ones offering the springs for VST kit since you can clearly see the relationship btwn them from their Japanese web sites. Seems to be under the same parent company.

Let us know how much they cost...and I will post more info on the EST's kit.
Damn, that's pretty sweet! I would like to do exactly what you have done to my T5. Let us know the cost.

I would love to know what price EST is selling their kits for. The Sachs kits are Valve for VST, and the APEX springs are VST specials. If you notice the ride height is much lower than most S60, using TME,SAM, or Heico. It produce a 1.8 inch drop on my S60 T5

FYI Your local Volvo Dealer sells a sachs lowering kit as well. Im sure of the cost, but comes with sport struts, shocks, and 30mm lowering springs. This is the same kit that Heico has been selling for a while. If anyone has information on this kit please inform I would like to know.

Ohlins has a kit but the it can only be bought through Volvo Dealers. Ohlins USA told me this. So their is a kit, but we just can get it yet.

The first Coilovers will be released for the S/V40 and will be manufactired by Apex.
