It really is unbelievably impressive. Why anyone would buy anything else (as far as make goes) is beyond me. I'm happy to see that they are continuing to get the recognition they deserve.I was wondering same thing and from the press release, I navigated to an award page on Volvo site under XC90 model listing all the awards, from different countries. Hopefully it is complete as the list is several pages long.

Yes! The back of the XC90 CAN do that by folding down the middle seats and sitting in the third row. Meanwhile, take a look at the OUTSIDE of the Kia Telluride. The seating configuration is standard; the child seat is optional; normally, there would be a regular seat on the right front.
