Since BMW is never going to make an 'M' version of the X5, what would you like Volvo to do with an XC90R type product? The BMW X5 4.6is has 347 hp and 354 ft-lbs of torque while the Mercedes ML55 AMG has 342 376 lb.ft of torque.
I think Volvo should just bring over the 32-valve supercharged 4.2 liter V8 from Jaguar that produces 400 hp and 408 lb.ft of torque. That sure would be nice! Although, a higher performance version of the 2.9 liter I6 with around 330hp could work. There is some stiff competition out there right now!
