Price reasonalbe - 4CC available here.

Surprisingly, light wood oak trim in not an option, neither is the exterior styling kit.

Also, it appears that the Nav System costs $2500....... holy crap. A decent Garmin costs $250. Talk about a rip-off!

4C nice! Nav = Volvo's marginal revenue

Shop around at the competition.... you'll see that 2500$ is not that bad for an INTEGRATED SYSTEM that will NOT GET YOUR WINDOWS BUSTED. Unlike those 250$ portable units. Audi sells it's Navigation on the Q5 for 3500$ CDN!

Price of Garmin at Best Buy/Future Shop 250$ + Taxes
Price of new window+labor +- 800$
"Told you so", Priceless...

Get where this is going.

However, I must admit that there is a way to get a Garmin 760 in the center console, but I'm not sure how hard it is to install or theif out.

My 2 cents.

Just because audi sells their unit for 3500 doesn't justfy volvo selling theirs for 2500 - industry wide, it is a rip off.

Volvo's unit is pretty lame compared to Audi's.

GPS smashing front window...never heard of this before

Same here in DC. They look for beanbag mounts that people leave on their dash tops or for residue left by suction cups. Once they see those, its "bam" and the glovebox, center console, and under the seat areas are searched. Once its found, off to the pawn shop for $100 towards a 64 oz bottle of malt liquor and other vices.

Been a vic not once, not twice, but three times.
Hence my mandating integrated nav systems.
