hi all
just got my first volvo - a 2004 v70 2.4d and I love it.
one small problem though is that neither 12v socket works.
I found the fuse and replaced it (was blown) only for it to blow immediately again when i plugged in my phone charger (which works fine in other cars)
I then replaced the fuse again, turned on the ignition and then turned it off. when I checked the fuse it was still ok. I put it back in, put the charger in and then turned on the ignition. Nothing. fuse blown again.
Anyone have any idea what might be up? i haven't checked the rear socket yet to see if it does the same so will get some new fuses tomorrow and try again.
could the socket have worn out and need replacing?

thanks in advance
