I am not certain of plans for a V60 Cross Country but I think it would be a successful trim level to offer in AWD guise here in the US. On my way home yesterday, from downtown Seattle to Redmond, I literally saw FIVE new Audi A4 allroads with happy stickers in the rear window. The V60 Cross Country would be a perfect competitor and has more cargo room.

 

Audi is the bigger car. 490/1430 ltr vs 430/1241 ltr

 

Interesting. When I saw the V60 in Sweden and compare it to the allroad, the V60 looks larger in the cargo area. Maybe just more usable. Can't wait to see.

When I talked to the Volvo guy. At the autoshow he said a cross country v60 was a possibility and they are looking at it but it would be a couple years away. Honestly, I don't understand why it. Should take so much time. It could be offered as trim level to avoid any further federalization? If they don't get it out by 2015 I wouldn't look for it before the next redesign...
