Hi Volvo Fans,

I currently have a small leak in the fuel injection line and recently purchased a replacement from the Volvo dealership only to realise that I need a special tool to release / decouple the line. I have searched high and low on the internet and eBay but am at a loss as to which tool I should purchase.

Please could you shed some light on the issue and point me in the right direction for the correct tool. I am happy to buy it online from a reputable store or visit in person. I currently reside in Birmingham in the UK.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Volvo V40 Fuel Injection Line Release Tool (floydy)

the one i use is just a standard thing, you should be able to get one easily at a parts house, you could go to volvo, a dealer, or an independent shop and ask, or have them do it.

swithching the hose should only take minutes. it might be safer to have someone practiced to do it, if you do it yourself be sure to de pressurize the line or a mess will be made.

best of luck
