This will be a story about how strong and smartly developed the 850's and Volvo's in general are...
I was on my way to school this morning, and this girl swerved in front of me
, and side swiped my gorgeous red 850 with her disgusting Civic EX at about 50 MPH, we were both doing about 50. I was shocked, pulled over, and got out. Her car was in horrible condition, with previous damage done that she hadn't had fixed.
The damage to her car was a broken sideview mirror. As for the 850 the mirror folded in
. Hers was in the middle of the road, while mine was folded in.
I unfolded mine, and noticed that I knew her. She ended up being a classmate of mine. I asked her if she wanted to me to buy her a new mirror... I don't know why, because it wasn't my fault, but I was very nervous at the moment. Anyways, I went to go get her sideview mirror, came back, and the cover was all scratched. She didn't take my offer on getting her a new sideview mirror, so I recommended that she claim it came off on a previous accident she had.
Well, my parents weren't too thrilled, but the 850 paint didn't have a scratch on it. I looked at it when I got to school, and took out the cloth, wax, and cleaned her off.
So the story ends that I don't owe any money, and my car came out beautifully. Just goes to show that if **** (that's really annoying) hits you, don't be scared, it'll bounce right off.
