Hello I have stupid question :D
In coolant reservoir there are two marks min and max.
My reservoir is old, dirty and hard to see through (plastic changed color)

Can it be that min section can be empty but max section is full?
I see that coolant is close to max mark but where min mark is I can't see if there is some coolant. (Maybe it goes over that black part and can't be seen)

Does min and max sections are divided or it's one single section?
And it looks like level sensor is under max section.

I have a 2007 V8 and the expansion tank is one compartment, no sections. If the coolant is at the full mark then you can see coolant at the minimum mark. The V8 and 3.2 have different tanks.

From the photo below of a 3.2 reservoir it looks like one single section. You tank might be discolored and or dirty as you stated. Spray some brake dust cleaner on it. That might clean it enough for you to see the coolant. I used that to clean the power steering reservoir and it came out like new. If it is discolored then the brake dust cleaner will not work.

What Napster said.

It's easier to see the level if you shine a flashlight against the side or in through the top.
