www.wothrline.com has some great info on tuning practices and hardware setups. He used to tune also, not sure if he still does or not. He wrote my tune in 2009, similar car except mine is a '00. I went with a 15G and blue injectors, but he can tune for just about anything.

I disagree about the S70 AWD being a poor starting point. Mine is very fun to drive, and I've never had a problem with handling, etc. I do agree that the rear is a bit softer, but I wouldn't say "extremely soft and bouncy". Depends on what shocks the car is fitted with, as there are at least 3 factory options for rear shocks on the S70 AWD. Also depends on tires, sway bars, etc. Parts to lower the vehicle, etc will be difficult to find though because as Alex said, the rear suspension is totally different than the FWD models.

Anyway, if Jan is still tuning, I'd highly recommend him. Have to send the ECU to him (he's in Sweden), but it's well worth the trouble. Very knowledgeable guy, spent over 20 years working for Volvo, with most of them in powertrain development .
