Hi! I'm an Indy resident and an editor-in-chief of an Indianapolis-based automotive publication catering to the interests of young adults. I've written a review of this year's Volvo S60 and a story of taking it up Pikes Peak. I'd like to know what you think!
http://www.autosushi.com/features/funactivities/pikespeakpartone.htm
http://www.autosushi.com/reviews/testdrives/2002VolvoS60.htm
Thanks!
Eric Rumschlag

Re: Volvo S60 up Pikes Peak (Beemer_eater)

Cool premise and well done. My only beef (cause I get the same thing back from some of our contributing photographers) is shooting the car in a driveway etc. As a rule, I tend to try to shoot the cars in an area where there are no other cars ( to take away from the car in question) and no driveways etc.. However, something picturesque doesn't have to be a huge background. We've done it in parking garages, behind warehouses etc.
You'll also want to get a copy of photoshop and correct the shading and maybe bring out some of the colors. Otherwise man, I think you did a GREAT job.
