Volvo "OnStar"?

A guy I work with picked up a 04 S60R GT maybe a month or so ago and he told me there was a corded phone in his armrest. Just a hand set with no buttons or anything.
He did some searching and thinks he figured it out what it is, but I wanted to post up the pics and see what you guys might know about it. From what he saw he said it sounded like it was like a Volvo "OnStar" or something, that would let Volvo Specialists talk to you in you car if needed. I haven't tried looking up info myself but, here's the pics!

Re: Volvo "OnStar"? (stealthS60AWD)

Old news.
Volvo On Call Plus, which offered an integrated phone (keypad on dash where cubby / cupholder) is and "SOS" type crash response.
No longer carried as the units were analog.
Volvo would remove your keypad and in some cases give you the bluetooth. But nothing has replaced the SOS feature.
Giveaway is the talk / hangup buttons on the wheel opposite where the cruise buttons are.
Search OCP or On Call Plus if you want the gorey details.

My car had this when I picked it up, had the keypad replaced for a pocket free of charge. The phone holder is a great niche for my iPod nano hookup

I still have that phone, along with a speaker in my headrest and two CALL and END CALL buttons on my steering wheel. I will want to program my bluetooth buttons to the wheel
