2018 V90 CC
So got the On Call Service Required warning on my dash which appears to be persistent.
I have read a few other threads on this and appears that right at the 7 year mark this fires until the small battery in the cargo area is replaced (and seemingly then the software is reset).
Anybody have experience with this?
The only part that has me confused is that the On Call is not working at all (seems to me that even if the battery is dying or software bricked @ 7 years that the system would still function with car running) - anybody experience this?
If it should still be operating then likely something else. I did read a post where the center speaker that On Call is connected to failed and simply replacing fixed and removed the warning.
Curious any thoughts or input on this one.
I did order a replacement battery that I will test although I don't think that this will result in the warning disappearing from what I have read.
