Volvo On Call - Coupon Code Question

Hello,

I recently purchased a 2019 Volvo XC90 and the on call service is expiring at about mid February. I couldn’t help but notice on the renewal site is lists “coupon code”.

With a quick google search it appears that there was a valid coupon code before new years but has since expired.

Anyone know of any that are still valid? If not, is there a certain time of year that Volvo typically releases a promotional coupon code that I could be on the lookout for one (such as December)?

I’m new to owning a Volvo and thought someone who has owned one for years may have some insight. I like the Volvo on call features but just cringe at paying $200 every year for a subscription.

Thanks for any help.

The offer a 30% discount right now

Would this be Volvo corporate or a dealership with the 30% off?

FYI, I was able to get the 30% form through chat. In the Volvo Cars App, on the 4th button on the bottom that looks like a speech bubble, there is a Contact Us link that you can tap on and then "Chat with us". I said in the text message chat that opened that I needed help with "other" and then typed that I "wanted the 30% off accessories form". The real person came on and then said they would get it to me by e-mail and it arrived right away. The form is personalized for me which is why nobody can share it here on the forum. Thanks @MalSled .

And thanks to @jacko15 . That link worked well for me and Steingold delivered right away. I submitted all of my info which included my VIN, odometer, and my Volvo ID (so be sure to have those ready). My app then changed from expiring in a few weeks to expiring a year and a few weeks. Super fast and easy.

Now just need to pop the rebate form in the mail with a copy of the receipt from Steingold.

Nice work! We always mail the printed receipt, so keep an eye out for it next week!

My subscription just ended a few weeks ago and was offered the rebate at 30% off, used the chat function again a week later. The agent asked for my VIN and said he could give me a FREE year!

I like free stuff, but that makes me suspicious. lol Memers might try asking them to search via your VIN for discounts.

I badgered customer service until a got a free 1 year extension. Paying $200 a year for the privilege of continuing to use an app to unlock the car is a bit much. We were planning on hanging to this car for a bit as we have another driver coming along, but maybe not after all.

Failure is inevitable, and often spectacular in geometry dash lite

To check if these codes are still valid, you can try entering them during the checkout process when you renew your subscription. If they don't work, you can contact Volvo customer service to see if they have any other promotions available.

Been keeping an eye out anywhere and everywhere, haven't received or seen any other discounts besides Steingolds.

Finding a valid coupon code for renewing your Volvo On Call can be tricky, but don't worry! You can try some below measures:

Contact Volvo Customer Service: While there might not be any publicly advertised codes, sometimes customer service representatives have access to exclusive offers or can negotiate a discount, especially for new owners. Explain your situation and ask if they have any available discounts.
Check Volvo Social Media: Follow Volvo Cars on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. They occasionally announce promotions and discounts on their social media channels.
Volvo Forums and Communities: Volvo enthusiast forums and communities often share discount codes or tips for getting deals. Consider checking out active threads on SwedeSpeed or Reddit Volvo subreddits.
Third-Party Volvo Salespeople: Some independent Volvo dealerships or sales associates might offer their own discounts or promotional deals. This might involve contacting them directly and inquiring about any offers on Volvo On Call renewals.

Congrats on your new Volvo XC90! Regarding the on-call service renewal, it's always a good idea to look for coupon codes to save some bucks. I've found that coupon codes for such subscriptions often fluctuate, so it's worth keeping an eye out periodically. While December tends to have more promotions, you might find deals throughout the year. Also, have you checked out couponing apps? They're a great resource for finding discounts on various services, including automotive subscriptions like Volvo's on-call service. Good luck with your search.

My 4 years is tomorrow tomorrow. I'm in the same boat. I want remote start, but just not worth the money when it should have been part of the keyfob like every other manufacturer has done it for the past 20 years. The rest of the "features" in the subscription bring no value to me. This is the only real gripe I have about this car and what will prevent me or my wife buying another Volvo. Small item, but quite important and annoying.
