Re: volvo fwd/awd alloy wheel list (GrecianVolvo)

the list indicates a left and a right on my 850 turbo columba wheels. i don't remember cause i sold them, but i thought my old factory 16" were all the same direction....oh well. i wonder if they came same or different directions from the factory...

Re: volvo fwd/awd alloy wheel list (steve s)

Those Jaguar wheels I'm looking at should fit, with 43mm offset
however I found that their hub size is 63.3 while 850's hub size is 65..
what does that mean and would that mean their wheels won't fit?

Re: volvo fwd/awd alloy wheel list (xtremepsionic)

hmm...then it'd probably not fit. the wheel doesn't stay on with the bolts....well...ok it does. the wheel's load is placed on the hub, not on the bolts. and most likely, it's a pretty tight fit.
....i think...
although...if u look at the wheel hub, there's some sort of lip...honestly...i don't know if that 2 mm would make a diff or not... nothing short of testing it out in real life.
is it really that much cheaper to get jag wheels than volvo wheels?

I didnt know they made a factory athracite canisto...very cool. Maybe I will buy factory wheels & sell mine, instead of having mine painted...
Thanks for the very informative post.

Re: volvo fwd/awd alloy wheel list (steve s)

yeah it is much cheaper.
$300 for a set. (shipping included)
but it seems like too much of a risk, I can't return them (I would lose $180 in shipping, haha) if they don't fit.

Re: volvo fwd/awd alloy wheel list (xtremepsionic)

I e-mailed serveral volvo dealerships and they read this:
6.5JX 16CH X 52.5
1X43-1007-AA
T 1058
differently. Some said "its 52.5 mm offset" some said "its 43mm offset"
weird.
I do think its 43 since on http://www.tyresave.co.uk/fitment.html this site, the ford monero or whatever and the xtype both uses 43mm offset wheels.

Re: volvo fwd/awd alloy wheel list (xtremepsionic)

on the old rims, i do remember seeing 43 offset boldfaced on it.
sidenote: the tritons for the c70 should also say 7.5"x18"...they ran 225-40-18 from the factory...
