Here's one we hadn't heard of. B92.net is reporting that Serbia's Boris Tadi? has invited the company to come to his country to review it for production possibilities.
Volvo officials said they were "impressed" by the meeting and that Serbia is a very natural central locations for the Balkans. It's doubtful that those comments mean much at all, but considering in-roads companies like the Volkswagen Group have made with plants like Bratislava (where the Touareg, Q7 and Cayenne are produced), and considering the profitability levels, you have to wonder if it wouldn't make sense for Volvo.
Time will tell. More after the jump...
http://www.b92.net/eng/news/ec...36098
