OK, I've installed the bsr stage 3 and can do 155 mph plus but I've noticed that my clock seems to be MORE wrong. (stock did this as well) It seems Volvo days have like 23 hrs 59 min and 53 sec but if you go to bsr stage 3 , yeah you'll get your groceries much quicker but the "Volvo day " will be futher reduced to like 23 hrs 59 min and 42 sec , (or is this backwards and volvo days increase because the clock loses time? ) am I crazy? good thing I don't actually have to rely on the car clock for anything.

With stage 1 mine has been accurate. However, I did notice that when I reflash the ecu, the clock gets behind by the amount of time it takes to reflash; which is normally just a few minutes. So after each reflash I have to turn the clock forward a bit.

I have the sage III, and during uploads and read car the clock is slowed. Other then that I have not noticed anything one way or another including any power increase.

After the tuning/read car is complete, the systems power back up including the lights. You have to be careful not to leave the car alone to long afterwards or your battery will be toast.

Re: Volvo clock MORE affected with BSR stage 3??? (jclaib)

while this could be related to einsteins theory , I'm starting to think that time actually "freezes" during bsr download and this increases with stages. I'm just happy I don't have to rely on the clock to tell time or something. perhaps a front mount antena with marks on the hood , that we could use as a sun-dial, wouldn't be bad and might even be more accurate. or a light sensor, that could display "day" or "night"
