First! Thank you for responding. I have the AAOS System B5 Mild Hybrid. So the climate schedule was removed and will be implemented again, later on, says Volvo. I was hoping it was that when I first saw it. From the screenshots below, I can't even remotely start the car.

BUT!!!!!! I think I noticed a pattern. It seems to be out of state when it is parked in my garage. I wonder if the WIFI garage opener is interfering with it, it was recently installed. I have it parked outside now and checking periodically. If it is a signal issue, odd, it's only happening now. Stay tuned!

UPDATE
NOT the wireless garage door opener from MyQ. I had to run an errand and left the car outside, and it's showing as it is on. So something with the state is not updating.

 

UPDATE: Heard from the dealer who did the 2.5. They said they have other cars exhibiting this, and they opened a case with Volvo.

 

PS: I keep checking to see if anyone has this issue. And it does not seem so. So I hope it’s just not me and one other person!? And what is causing it.

 

I do not want to speak toooooo soon. BUT Volvo Cars App Update, 5.22.0, MAY have solved this issue. It was released today.

 

FIXED...

 

Mine shows it running when I know it isn’t. Not a wifi issue since I park outside in the driveway. when I go to try and stop it, it just shows the spinning circle and doesn’t stop. At least the car starts! My sensus worked flawlessly and had many more option choices. Especially able to set the seat and steering wheel heat settings in the OS. Now I have to remeber to set them before I leave the car at the end of the day. Hope this all gets sorted in the updates although I have a 23 and think it’s up to date.

 

I had this too yesterday. I did warm the car before driving but the app showed it warming all day.

 

Just curious if anyone else is seeing the same thing? I am assuming the app will need to be updated.

I've had lots of sync issues between car & app going back quite a way...

My workaround in there (infotainment reset) doesn't always work. I do think you're correct @EdnaRay that it is the back-end.

 

There is an iOS update to the app today
5.22.1 we will see how that plays out. Volvo support recommended logging out and back into the Volvo cars app if the app freezes showing the car as running when it is not really running.

Have the same problem, app misrepresents status, showing heating is on. XC 60 B5 2022 early with AAOS. I don’t think this is a backend problem, as most useful thing to temporarily fix this problem is resetting modem/antennas module (holding windscreen heating for 10+ seconds, until sos button starts to blink red and car looses gps). Also something strange happens sometimes to on call button. Sometimes it does not light up. Modem reset helps with this too. Logging in and out from the app doesn’t help to fix either problem.
I already have had problems with this antennas module, it hanged and bricked all keyless access, gps, sos/on call. It was during 2.2 approximately. Went to the dealer to fix it, they rolled back firmware only of this module according to some Volvo’s internal memo. Recently it hanged again and according to new memo, dealer updated to 2.5. They said it solved this staff (according to Volvo) and pushed new fw for this module.
