Unfortunately my 2008 C30 seats are showing their age, well at least the driver's side. The Tech seat upholstery is cracking on the left side near my left butt cheek. Anyway, is there anyway I can get this fixed or would it be better to buy seat cover? However I am unable to find Volvo specific seat covers for the C30. Does anyone know where I can find them?

i got in on that gb. it was from leatherseats.com. im not sure if they sell just one seat cover though. it would be a lot cheaper then getting it through volvo.
edit: they prob wont have the tech seat material. idk if ordering all leather covers is in your budget, but there are a few sets on ebay right now in different colors.

I have a seat cover left over with NO cracks and in original Volvo quality. Basically unused (max. 2.000 miles has someone sat on it). If interested, give me a shout (it is the grey/anthracite colour).
you should look the other solution to solve or fix the crack. Maybe you can buy another same seat.

I share the same issue with my 08, C30 too. NOT once but, this is my second time. Like you, same area, same type of rip/tear. My local Volvo dealer can special order just the bottom cover for $355.85 USD, that is not including labor!! I personally think that Volvo needs to cover it in my case, being this is the second time. Defective material? Who knows, but it looks ragged and site for sore eyes. Urgh. To be continued.
