Definitely better MPG figures. Wonder what it's like in the real world.

How can the XC60 get 18 mpg city / 27 mpg highway when the S80 only gets 16/25?

But isn't it a bit premature to proclaim it as the "best made" Volvo until we know something about the reliability?

I saw an XC-60 on the road the other day on the way home from work. I'm not a big "cross over" guy (prefer sedans myself) but I have to admit that it's one sharp looking vehicle.
Edit (so as not to take up another response space): The one I saw was white.

I've seen one live one in the U.S., but it's being driven by the dealer, whose house I pass buy every day to work. I've only seen one in Stockholm so far. Both were silver, if I recall correctly.

"The inline 6-cylinder produces an energetic 235 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque across a wide power band that provides for the XC60's quick, fluid acceleration..."

I highly doubt it is energetic or quick.
