Volvo and Amazon are making it easier to get package delivery in the U.S.

Volvo is adding Amazon Key to the Volvo On Call service, which will change the way Amazon Prime members can get their packages delivered. Link their Amazon account to their Volvo On Call account and you can get your parcel delivered right to your trunk.

Pick "In-Car" as the delivery in the checkout, and set where you expect your car to be on the date and time. On the day of the delivery, park in range of the delivery address, and the delivery service will deliver the package directly to your vehicle. Users will get a notification from the app when the delivery is done and the car is re-locked.

“We’re excited to partner with Volvo Cars to bring Amazon Key in-car delivery to our customers across the U.S. Starting today, Prime members can order tens of millions of items sold on Amazon.com and have them delivered to their car, at no extra cost,” said Peter Larsen, Vice President of Delivery Technology for Amazon.

The service started in Europe in 2015, and is now expanding to 37 cities in the U.S. along with their surrounding areas.
