I purchased my car used two years ago, and I've had no problems with it. Recently, it appears that the fuel injectors may be clogged. The symptoms
are that it loses power suddenly then picks up again and continues. On two occassions it lost power totally, then after sitting for five minutes it turns over and behaves like nothing occured. If anyone is familiar with the fuel-injector system would this be an accurate assesstment? If there is another possible problem please suggest what that may be.

Re: Volvo 2004 S60 2.5 (Elsesteo)

We probably need a little more info in order to help you. It does not sound like injectors though.

What mileage is on the car?
Has the fuel pump factory recall been done?

Has the car ever had issues with the MAF sensor?
Has the car ever had any issues with the ETM?
Has the car ever had issues with the turbo control valve?
