Just a note as I'd seen some other threads asking about the impact/ benefit of the rear brace.
Brace itself is very nicely designed (except the sticker is upside down...) and painted (white). Mine was EXACTLY the right size, not a whisper too big or small. In fact, I thought it might be helpful to put some foam tape on the ends just to protect from any later squeaks. Totally impossible as there was no extra room. Easily installed, but pull the big foam pad out to better access the back side to hold the nuts. Installed it looks sorta cool if you happen to be spending time back there.
I have some other suspension mods and so can't speak to what the impact is without these modifications. I can say the impact was immediate and noticible. I didn't really have side hop before but now cornering is more stable, more solid feeling, especially under high power. The back end just tracks and inspires confidence. Is it my imagination or is there less crash over bumps and rough road? The combination of springs, sways, endlinks and now the bar permits sport mode damping (nice unless your roads are like glass) with almost no body roll. Really.
I suspect the brace would stiffen the rear twist and thus could enhance understeer opportunties but I couldn't produce it. DTC off and the car slides pretty evenly, though I'll take understeer any day over oversteer.
It's a low cost, quick DIY install with immediate results? Hard to beat.
