Has anyone used this intercooler? Yonaka Type 10 Intercooler from Viva Performance. If you have how does it fit the R's? <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0">

Yonaka is a decent company, not the greatest intercooler on the market but should get the job done. <p>As for buying from Viva that intercooler can be found for more like 200$ if you shop around, dont buy it just because its sold on a volvo performance site. Its just their generic model, just google searching i found tons for 200-220$....

The piping MUST be upgraded, then it can hook up to just about any core you can mount up front! It is already a tight fit with the core mentioned in this thread, and it would take more modification and fabrication to fit something larger.

Viva at some point was talking about a custom hose set for that Yonaka intercooler. Probably a cheaper alternative than the piping set that is out there.

Not that George makes overpriced stuff. He doesn't. He just has less potential for any hassle than Phuz, as Phuz is only one man.
