Hi!

Are there somebody that have problems with til turbo boost with the Viva CBV?
My car is running on E85 and should boost 20+ psi, the car is just running at 14 psi.
Yellom spring in CBV.

.....why?
Because it technically has a higher octane rating so you can crank up the boost pressure safely and more than make up for the less power per liter.

I could have sworn you need to upgrade your injectors and various other bits when tuning for e85 though.

E85 may be less powerful than gas, but oxygen is more powerful than either. E85 burns cooler, reducing combustion chamber temps.

Where are you measuring boost pressure from, and using which gauge? Did you perform a boost leak on your charged air pipe? The coupler on the turbo compressor outlet on 2006+ models can fail and cause a boost leak.

The car's spec is for E85 from Autotech!
Elevate intake, 630CC injectores, upgraded intercooler, 3"DP + ex, and ATM SW.

I measuring the preassure in the intake manifoil. VDO gauge.
No boost leak as I can see.
The Viva CBV should take up to about 23 psi?

Is there data on the ECU that will tell them why boost is being limited?

Well, for starters the boost map may have been incorrectly compiled.

I initially had a problem with my CBV too, but realized I installed it with the valve facing the wrong way.
