I am having a problem connecting to low speed can. I have searched the internet and found only one post with the same problem but no solution. It happens in both Vida and Vdash. I have tried on multiple cars and still get the same outcome. I am suspecting my Dice unit is going bad although it passes the communication tool test. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I hope there is a solution, I really don't want to buy a new Dice unit, I have barely got to use it.

First of all what car and model year as different cars and years have different problems and could be easier to diagnose what module is maybe brining your network down.

Second of all, any modifications that are spliced into the Can network Like TFT retrofit from vDash?

The low speed networks on my XC70 does this randomly and often, I suspect a module that won't shut up is bringing down the low speed network by spamming it with junk. this because leaving My laptop and dice connected in the car long enough for modules to go to sleep it will eventually communicate again sometimes if it refuses after 10 mins to work if I press lock and unlock on key fob and wait again it will finally work.

Tried on 2001 S60, 2006 V70 and 2008 XC70. All had the same result.

Multiple cars likely failure of DiCE communicating with low speed network, do you have another dice you can test with?

I don't have another one but may have to find someone who has a dice unit too.

The first clone dice I purchased did that - the vendor sent me another, and I gave that one away (with the knowledge that it would not communicate with those modules)

I've the same problem with Vdash and VxDiag on my 2014 V60. Vdash can't access to low speed Can bus.

For the HS can bus it's ok

My problem turned out to be a bad connection between the OBD II port and DICE connector. Wiggling it helped to get a good connection.

I tried without the extension cable : it works

Edit : need information about adding a new part to my car. If I add a new part to the car, i can link it with vdash to make the car recognise it ?
