04 v70r with 98k on it... over the past 2 months i've noticed a good amount of vibration coming from the back right. enough vibration that it makes my car sound like it has maracas in it, pretty annoying.

anyways, i got my tires rebalanced yesterday, and it maybe improved, but not much. the vibration basically feels like i have a hump in one of my tires, and is pretty noticeable from 10mph-25, and again at 70+.

most everyone thinks it would be a bearing, but the techs at the tire shop said that nothing felt that loose. my diesel mechanic buddy thinks its the wheel bearing, i took another car savvy friend on a ride last night and he has no clue, he said it felt like when a chunk of ice or snow gets stuck on the tire. i just can't picture how a wheel bearing would produce the bump feel in the ride.

any of you guys experienced this?

I've had this issue with wheel bearings before. In fact, in the past I've had them changed 6 times when I used to work at a steel plant and drove over numerous railroad tracks everyday.
