They don’t blow air on you, they pull the air away from you. Turn them on and put a tissue on the seat, you’ll see that it stays sucked to the seat a bit. They work very well for me, I’m pleased by how quickly they cool you down on a hot day.

 

Is that the seat cooling option? I wondered about it too, it's not as cool like other nissan cars with cool seats. I don't feel cold air at all. At third option it is loud, so usually leave it at 2.

 

I seemed to remember when I test drove the the demo car that it was blowing. Did they change that to "taking heat away"

The seats are ventiiated - not air-conditioned. As explained above, ventilated seats pull warmer air away from the body - which effectively cools. The seats do not have a AC feature where it blows cold air towards the body.

 

I can also confirm that the ventilated seats suck. Every other car I've been in had the cool air blow out of the perforations so that's why we could all be wrongly recalling XC90s doing that.

 

Yah I am still sweaty in car since it is not blowing air.
