this software is pretty interesting. spent probably the last hour or so playing with it, very informative. This is perfect for anyone with a volvo, not just the dealerships.

You're pretty close to me, would you wanna make some money? I'd like to change some options on my car. The dealer wants $100 per option!

You need the VCT2000 adapter and used versions of it are still commanding a princely sum. IOW it's still cheaper to pay a visit to your friendly local Volvo dealer.

U know what i would, but like dextro said, i don't have the VCT2000 adapter that is required. So far, those are pretty pricey to come by.

I thought VADIS was the software that controls the body control module (or similar computer).
I quickly researched it, and it appears VADIS is just a comprehensive manual, including diagnostic codes?

Re: (Tiny)

VADIS could do those adjustments you are referring to. But and this is a big Queen Latifah but, you need the VCT2000 thing-a-ma-jig to connect a computer to a car.
However VADIS is only for years up to '04 maybe '05. The new deal is called VIDA and its what the dealer uses. Good luck finding VIDA for cheap.
