I am coming up on my 7500 mile "free" VADIS adjustment. I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a list of codes and what they do?

Re: VADIS Help (wmurray926)

Normally listed as "Personal Car Settings", it took me a while to figure out what to search for the first time. I think this is the whole list:

http://acctest.semcon.se/en-GB...3.htm
------------------------------------
FUNCTION FOR 2 STAGE UNLOCKING1 (US/CA functionality)2

S80 9499 637-8
S60, S60 R 8645 453-5
V70 00-, V70 R, XC70 01- 9452 950-0
FUNCTION FOR DIRECT UNLOCKING¹ (EU functionality)¹

S80 9499 636-0
S60, S60 R 8645 452-7
V70 00-, V70 R, XC70 01- 9452 949-2
Allows you to change the unlocking function of your car.
One-stage unlocking means that all doors and the tailgate/boot lid are unlocked by a press the UNLOCK button on the remote control once. 2 stage unlocking means that the first press on the remote control UNLOCK button will unlock the driver's door only. A second press is required to unlock the remaining doors.
To date cars built for the US and Canada have been supplied with 2 stage unlocking. Cars built for other countries are supplied with one-stage unlocking.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FUNCTION FOR CAR CONFIRMATION / ADD¹

S80 9499 397-9
S60, S60 R 8645 450-1
V70 00-, V70 R, XC70 01- 9452 947-6
FUNCTION FOR CAR CONFIRMATION / REMOVE¹

S80 9499 398-7
S60, S60 R 8645 451-9
V70 00-, V70 R, XC70 01- 9452 948-4
Allows you to add or remove the visual confirmation signal to your car. This function automatically locks the doors in the normal way (not deadlocking) when vehicle speed exceeds 7 km/h. If the door is opened from the inside, when exiting the car for example, the door is locked again when the vehicle speed exceeds 7km/h.
An open door will not be locked. The doors are not unlocked automatically when the speed falls below 7 km/h.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FUNCTION FOR ALARM ACTIVATION / DEACTIVATION VIA DOOR LOCK / ADD¹

S80 9499 266-6
S60, S60 R 8645 448-5
V70 00-, V70 R, XC70 01- 9452 945-0
FUNCTION FOR ALARM ACTIVATION / DEACTIVATION VIA DOOR LOCK / REMOVE¹

S80 9499 267-4
S60, S60 R 8645 449-3
V70 00-, V70 R, XC70 01- 9452 946-8
Makes it possible to retrofit or remove the alarm activation / Deactivation function via the door locks in your car. With such a change, the parking assistance will be disabled at 15 km/h (9 mph) as in the original version. The system is only reactivated, however, when the button is pushed or reverse gear is engaged, unlike the original system in which the system is reactivated once vehicle speed drops below 10 km/h (6 mph). The system is always enabled during a new driving cycle.
Ordered according to separate procedures and downloaded using VIDA.
For cars without Deadlocks.
