I realize the new and used car markets are in uncharted territory. Nonetheless, the car seems way overpriced. Last year, dealers were selling new leftover 2019 Volvos for $10K under MSRP.

That's like comparing apples to oranges. This is a very rare car, very few in the market, certified. The market will tell whether or not it's overpriced.

Is the 1 of 43 number listed in the dealer's ad for MY19 only? Or includes across the split and is for all V90 ORE vehicles?

That's for the 2019 model year. There were 84 total VORs built for the US market between 2018 and 2019.
Thanks for clarifying! I do love the look of these and would be tempted if money wasn't a concern. Current owners, keep them safe for us later owners!

The same could be said for the four different variants of the V90 wagons sold in the US - considering that only 183 were sold in 2017, 491 were sold in 2018, 500 in 2019, 279 in 2020 and 83 so far this year through March 31. Source is the Volvo Media page for US sales.

Makes me wonder what the different totals are for each of the variants by model year. I know that I have only seen three or four other V90 wagons (not including Cross Countries) on the road since I bought mine in Dec 2018, and I am in a fairly heavy Volvo market.

I agree with you, in that the V90 platform in any form (CC, VOR, R-design, and Inscription) are rare by any standard in the US.

However, it's the VOR packaging and unique options that make it not only rare, but also more of a standout. Of course that only really matters to enthusiasts probably.

I'm also in a heavy Volvo market (New England) and yeah, I do see a few V90CCs now any again, and there's maybe two or three others in my town. I don't think I've seen a non-CC outside of a dealership yet. Such a shame, since they're such nice looking and practical cars!

Based on the sticker of my 2018 v90CC OR - this one does not have the B&W stereo, but does have HUD and convenience package...not sure if they raised prices between 2018 and 2019 - but mine w/o B&W would be $64k sticker...

From what I recall cars, like houses, just cost more in CA than in the PA/MD/DC area where I live. I looked at some other certified and used models on that web site. Prices in general are higher than here.

FWIW, I was visiting family in Sacramento and took a look at this car in person. Outside of needing a serious detail, it's in very nice condition. But, after two months in inventory, the dealer still isn't budging on price +/- a couple hundred dollars.

non-VOR wheels...and missing cover on the passenger side front bumper...$48.5k?!...yikes...my 2018 will be coming off-lease in November and the buy-out is around $31k...which, of course, i'm buying...
Yeah. Although I like those wheels more than the VOR wheels, this one looks molested. If the VOR wheels came with it, the cover on the bumper had an explanation, and this is a CPO with 6 or 7 years/unlimited miles, then maybe there's something to this.

I also like the 21" wheels, but I think when you have edition specific wheels (that are only 1" smaller), it's a mistake to opt for wheels you can get on any V90cc.

The missing tow hook cover isn't a big deal to me, since it's possible it got blasted off in a car wash, or something like that, and it's easily replaced.

But yeah, not going to lie, even though we're not planning to sell our VOR, it is nice to see the residual values holding for them....for now.
