V90 CC ground clearance lower in last models?

Pulling up the Canadian specs and comparing 2018 to 2023, we have the following (2018 | 2023):

Height: 1543mm | 1537mm
Ground clearance: 210mm | 195mm
Weight: 1834kg | 1943kg

So the new model sits 4mm lower but has lost 15mm in ground clearance? On the height, I wonder if the new hybrids sit a bit lower due to the extra 100kg they're carrying around and if the battery somehow takes up some space and reduces clearance above and beyond the car just sitting lower?

The third-party tests I've seen also show that the new models have worse breaking and cornering, which seems expected given the extra weight. It's one of the few cases where a mid-cycle refresh seems to have made the vehicle significantly worse. I wish my 2017 had the upgraded Sensus performance but, overall, I'll take my 2017 over a current model any day.

For reference, Car and Driver numbers from before and after hybridization:

0-60: 6.5s | 6.4s
1/4 mile: 14.9s | 14.8s
50-70: 4.4s | 4.6s
Skidpad: 0.92g | 0.85g
70-0 distance: 157ft | 168ft

You might hope that you get better gas mileage with the hybrid, but gas mileage appears to be a bit worse:

Volvo's reported Canadian numbers(combined): 9.6L/100km | 9.7L/100km
EPA test cycle: 25/22/31 mpg | 25/22/29 mpg
