Re: V70R Titanium Edition... (Kai)

Seems so - and when I saw those silver rails on the regular V70 Ti Edition, I though they looked kinda cheap up close. And this car looks black...isn't the Titanium Edition supposed to be Titanium?

Those are the roof rails of the TiEd. placed on a black R.
Like you said they look cheap. That was my first impression also.(Still is..

That's sort of neat, what color is that supposed to be?

Yea the pics I have seen of the Ti Edition, the color is Ti Grey and the black moldings are silver instead as well. That is an R w/ the Silver roof rails. Roof rails look better on and XC70 rather than an V70R

That photoshopped blue is sweet. http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Aggreed!
Roof rails have no place on an R unless absolutely necessary.

Re: V70R Titanium Edition... (GrecianVolvo)

Here is a picture of my ride I picked up on Friday.... 20% tint in the rear,

I have since put on the 18"s with Mich A/S Pilot Sports.

I will be posting more pics later this week when I am caught up on my work.

Can't wait to hear/read how they ride. I'm thinking of something similar on Titanium 18's, AFTER these are gone.

Re: V70R Titanium Edition... (FineProperty)

Hi Rich,

I will post some pics of the interior as you have requested last week. I want to go up the coast to a real nice spot to take all the shots.

The Mich A/S Pilot Sports are certainly a softer tire then the Pirelli 17's.

I took the Pirelli up the coast on what they call the Sea to Sky highway north of Vancouver and they really hold the turns well under power.... the Mich A/S, even on 18's, you can feel that they are softer, there is a bit more of an abruptness to them once you really lean into the corner.

I now am thinking that I will ride these out this winter, and get another set of 18's with a dedicated summer tire.

Which means I will be letting the 17's go, if anyone in the pacific northwest, western canada is interested.
